Gooday <img src="e.deviantart.com/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)" /> Thought I would have a bash at critiquing this.

As a newcomer to Macro, and learning the ins and outs, it is pictures like these that are an inspiration. This image has a calming feel to it, through the colour and soft tones. And then the intense focus just draws your eye right to that point. Its a great picture in that due to its simplicity and softness, it does not allow your eye to wander out of it, even if it wants to.

Again through Macro we see the world of nature magnified to an almost surrealist alien landscape and this one triumphs in that respect without being cluttered and overdone. A beautiful piece, one that would gracefully hang in a gallery and draw people to it.

If there is any negative - it is that maybe through more shots and creative blending, you could have got a larger focus on all the Stamen (?) but its a minor gripe as its the total softness of the picture that works.
